I am a sewing writer based in Cambridge.
I started sewing when I was 8 and I started writing about sewing in 2010 when I founded Orange Lingerie, the company that helps sewists make their own beautiful and professional looking lingerie.
With Orange Lingerie I produced lingerie sewing patterns, tutorials, taught workshops all over the U.S. and even wrote a book on bra fitting and construction. My work has been published in Threads Magazine (Issue #174) and in Seamwork.
The Orange Projects is a newsletter about sewing clothes.
Among other topics you can expect to read about are sewing project inspiration and planning, fabric shopping and experiences with sewing patterns as well as make versus buy decision making and how to organize all the sewing projects, tools and equipment.
Subscribers receive 2 to 4 newsletters each month.
The Orange Projects is free today for all subscribers. All subscribers can comment on posts and can contribute to the community in the comments. Newsletters contain links to the specific fabrics, patterns, books and notions referenced in each newsletter.
I want to talk about sewing with more people.
